Installing an electrical meter
Before the meter can be switched on or powered up care must be taken to ensure that the tamper latch on the meter has been installed correctly, if this is not done then the meter will go into tamper mode and will not dispense electricity until a clear tamper token is entred. Clear tamper tokens can only be generated during office hours 8am to 5pm weekdays.
If everything has been done and checked the power may be turned on and enter a
commisioning token 1275 4194 1448 6450 5970, the meter is now operational and a token for power can now be entred.
Installing an water meter
Once the water meter is installed a token can be entred, if the meter does not accept the token it could be that they are not paired.
To pair a user interface to the base meter enter

then enter the meter number
and then #
then the user interface will flash the meter number
How to generate a token
A token can be generated on the internet by clicking here or by sending an sms to 079 091 4073 or 078 338 3194 with the following
M(pin)*(meter number)*credit(value no decimals) eg. M1234*0412345678*credit100
This sms will load R100 onto the meter and create a token and send it back to your phone if you are the owner of the meter
If you want to load electrcity onto the meter but not generate a token you would send a sms as follows
M(pin)*(meter number)*pay(value no decimals) eg. M1234*0412345678*pay100<
this will load the value of R100.00 onto the system and your tenant will be able to download the token using the following format
M(pin)*(meter number)*(value no decimals) eg. M1234*0412345678*100
This will create a token for R100.00 and send it to the phone requesting the token
